So I'm back from America and although there has been silence when it comes to this website the rest of the band have been busy writing and there is a steady flow of music coming from us.
Unfortunately during my time away we lost our singer, Taylor, and so at least for the moment I'm going to be stepping up to do at least the majority of our vocals. We're still on the lookout for a vocalist mind you so give us a shout if you're interested. Email or via our myspace would be perfect.
Expect to see some further activity from us in the coming months, we have to bring ourselves back up to a performing standard with our new vocals but once we do we're going to be on the lookout for gigs and getting back into playing.
Note that I've taken down the forum, I failed to realise that it had become completely overtaken by spambots and so lost myself some money in bandwidth there. Oh well, what kind of band needs a forum anyway...

An explanation for the lack of news is probably due, it's basically because I'm in the US working the ski season and since I'm the only one that posts any news this has resulted in the current radio silence.
I've only just got the laptop on which I am currently typing this so I am a little less informed than I would like but sadly Opium Toad's big Monday Mayhem gig got canceled due to all of the other bands dropping out which rather sucks. On a more positive note, a final-ish version of Fires in the Sky has been up on the myspace for quite a while now but deserves a mention.
For now I think we're pretty eager to get out there and get playing so if anyone is interested, head over to the gigs page and drop us a line.

We recently had a short amount of time in a small studio, just enough time to get something of a demo for our newest song, War (which is another working title, this is how we roll).
It's up now on our myspace so go and take a look.
In other news, I leave in under 2 weeks, eek...

What the funk (used to test the in page player below) has now been finalised and properly recorded. It is currently up for listenin' on the myspace. We're gonna try and lay down a slightly better version today with vocals (not that there is much of anything in the way of lyrics) and hopefully slightly improved quality.
We're also planning a video for that very song, should be pretty fun stuff.

We have now got a new version of Sad Song (now named Over My Shoulder, because it has lyrics) on the myspace. It's still not a perfect version but we're unlikely to get that without a good few days in a studio, something we're unlikely to get for a while without one of us winning some money. I'm still relieved to get rid of the previous one and its a nice step up all the same.
Expect more recordings soon, possibly not of our songs, we may get some covers up just because we can (and also because none of our other songs are quite finished).

I've just finished doing some slight renovation to update the links at the top, as you can see it now has a link to the myspace and to the forum. Hopefully nothing new will come along too soon that would require another update.
In other news, we would have some recordings up of our only finished song but our main man Tubb has been called away for uhh...marital duties...for the weekend leaving us unable to finish the recording. Needless to say, it's a bedroom recording so it's not going to be very good but we'd like to get a better flavour of what we've done with the song since the last version that is up on the myspace page.
Once we're up and running a bit with some more equipment (and the exams are over) we can maybe churn out song songy goodness...
